Our main hub and Festival Welcome Desk for 2024 where you can collect festival bracelets for access to the festival, book massage and treatments, and ask any questions will be at Mountain Air, next to Medran.

Please allow plenty of time to collect your wristband before your first class.

This year, the festival will take place at two venues: the traditional Mouton Noir deck, now renamed as the VIRYA+ Energy Shala, and a new venue at La Chaux, situated at 2200 meters with breathtaking mountain and glacier views.

To reach the Inspire Shala at La Chaux, you have two options: either take two gondolas (first from Médran to Ruinette, then the La Chaux Express) or take the first gondola to Ruinette and continue on a scenic trail by e-bike or on foot (a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bike ride) to La Chaux.

By staying at any of the Hotels in town or a friend's house residing in Verbier you will receive a VIP pass which will grant you a free access ticket to Ruinettes and many different advantages in town.

It will not grant you access to La Chaux gondola though and this is to your own expenses.

For more information regarding the VIP Pass visit : https://www.verbier.ch/summer/inside/vip-pass/

You can reserve directly through the Hotels we are partnering with and mention you are attending the Inspire Yoga Festival for preferential rates.

A simple room will be 80chf per night, a luxury room at hotel with Spa starts at 240chf per night.

Normally summers are dry and warm in Verbier. Expect cooler morning and evening temperatures and always ensure you bring some light, protective clothing in case of rain or cooler weather. In case of doubt, do check the weather forecast:

Please bring your ID when you collect your Festival Bracelet from the Welcome Desk before going to your first class.

You will need your own yoga mat for the weekend plus any other equipment you like to use. Blocks and bolsters will be available for some workshops/ateliers. You can also rent or buy a mat and blanket from us at the welcome desk.

Please ensure you have adequate personal health and travel insurance. Inspire is not covered on your behalf and all activities, whether yoga or more general mountain sports must be undertaken at your own risk.

Currency is the Swiss Franc although some businesses may also accept payment in Euros. Most restaurants and shops take Maestro and Visa and Mastercard credit cards. AMEX is less widely accepted. We advise cash payments in some smaller cafés/restaurants. Verbier is French speaking although as an international destination, English is also widely spoken.

Verbier is generally renowned as a “safe” resort although of course we advise you not to take undue risks.

Mountain safety is an important factor and not to be underestimated, particularly regarding fast changing weather conditions. Please always check the weather and conditions when heading out on a hike/exploration and check with local specialists in case of any concerns.
