Normally summers are dry and warm in Verbier. Expect cooler morning and evening temperatures and always ensure you bring some light, protective clothing in case of rain or cooler weather. In case of doubt, do check the weather forecast:

Please bring your ID when you collect your Festival Bracelet from the Welcome Desk before going to your first class.

You will need your own yoga mat for the weekend plus any other equipment you like to use. Blocks and bolsters will be available for some workshops/ateliers. You can also rent or buy a mat and blanket from us at the welcome desk.

Please ensure you have adequate personal health and travel insurance. Inspire is not covered on your behalf and all activities, whether yoga or more general mountain sports must be undertaken at your own risk.

Currency is the Swiss Franc although some businesses may also accept payment in Euros. Most restaurants and shops take Maestro and Visa and Mastercard credit cards. AMEX is less widely accepted. We advise cash payments in some smaller cafés/restaurants. Verbier is French speaking although as an international destination, English is also widely spoken.

Verbier is generally renowned as a “safe” resort although of course we advise you not to take undue risks.

Mountain safety is an important factor and not to be underestimated, particularly regarding fast changing weather conditions. Please always check the weather and conditions when heading out on a hike/exploration and check with local specialists in case of any concerns.

Verbier offers plenty of activities for children of all ages, as well as crèche and babysitting services from our partners at www.petitverbier.com including their Saturday Club which runs all day on 26 August.
